After visiting the castle you will walk through the narrow streets of the old town and find out a mysterious waterfall in the Fig gorge . On the way to the waterfall you will see the only Sunni mosque in Tbilisi.
Visit the Tiflisian district Abanotubani with sulfuric baths, where the history of Tbilisi began (on this place the city was built). Warm sulfur water flows into the baths directly from the ground and is known as rejuvenating and healing remedy.
In the carriages of the funicular you will go up to the mountain Mtatsminda, where in any time of the day you can enjoy great views of Tbilisi. In a clear weather you can even see the Caucasus mountains and the highest mount in Georgia – Kazbek. You will have a walk in the Bombora Park (the former name of the park was Stali’s) here you can see the whole city at a glance from the Ferris wheel, try a popular Georgian lemonade “Lagidze Waters” in a variety of flavours and sit in a lovely restaurant with a great view, which according to a legend was built for Stalin.
Visit the Pantheon, the burial place of famous writers, artists and heroes of Georgia. Here is the grave of Alexander Griboyedov (a well know Russian writer), his wife N. Chavchavadze and Stalin’s mother. On the territory of the Pantheon there is a cave of Saint David Gareji, a revered Saint in Georgia, where in the XIX century was built a temple.
